The idea for “Youth in” started with Fryshuset and The Employment Service met in Almedalen on Gotland. The conversation was about what we could do together for the large group of young people defined as' young outside ", ie those who are not studying, working, are registered jobseekers or have contact with Social Services.
The result was Project “Youth in”, owned by the Employment Service and funded by the European Social Fund (ESF ). Collaboration Parties are Fryshuset , Stockholm Municipality and Friends .

Collaboration
“Youth in“ depends entirely on the collaboration to work well. In addition to the collaboration parties in the project (Stockholm City Council, Friends and Fryshuset) so employers and other organizations and agencies are very important for our work. We have a wide network of other organizations and agencies that cover the parts that “Youth in” not in itself have expertise in.
Are you an employer?
As an employer, you are very important for young participants . Our partners contribute differently to the project, as good role models in our mentoring program, participants receive the sample interviews, by engaging participants for short jobs, volunteer assignments in vocational or job training. Cooperation with various partners are important to us and we are always open to discussions about cooperation possibilities. We also have network meetings for employers here at Fryshuset.
